Add your key

Paste your LocalePro key into WordPress so the site can receive updates.

Your key is in the purchase email, and on the account page when we still have a copy to show you. In WordPress, open LocalePro settings and paste it into the key field.

The key is what turns on plugin updates. Translation itself uses your DeepL or Google account.

When a key is accepted

  • It belongs to LocalePro.
  • The purchase is still active. A refunded purchase is not.
  • The site is within the number you bought: 1, 3, or 10 sites, unless we’ve arranged something larger with you.

If it doesn’t go through, the message will say the key is wrong, inactive, already used on too many sites, or not for this plugin. Fix that, then try again. An old key that you’ve replaced will not start working if you keep pasting it.

After it’s saved

WordPress checks in from the admin, not on every visit. A replaced or cancelled key can take up to a day to be noticed. Saving the new key yourself is the quick way.

How many sites

The plan you bought sets the number: 1, 3, or 10 WordPress sites on the same key. A site past that limit won’t be accepted. Need more than ten? Write us. That’s a conversation, not another button on the pricing page.

Next

A key does not translate the site by itself. Connect DeepL or Google, then turn on the languages you want to offer.
