Google Cloud
WordPress translation on your Google bill.
Turn on Cloud Translation, create a key, and paste it into LocalePro. We don't resell Google credits.
If you already use Google Cloud, Cloud Translation is often the simplest way to add languages to WordPress. LocalePro is the plugin that calls it, remembers every sentence, and serves later visitors from your site.
You pay Google for new text. You pay LocalePro a yearly price for how many sites you run. Traffic and word count don't change that price.
Pair this withDeepLif you want a second engine, or seehow to create the key.
Questions
Do I need a service-account JSON file?+
No. LocalePro uses a Google Cloud key with Cloud Translation turned on, not a service-account file. Create the key in Google Cloud, limit it to translation if you can, and paste it under Settings → Connectors.
Can I use DeepL as a backup?+
Yes. Connect both, and leave the choice on automatic. If Google is down, out of quota, or can't handle that language, DeepL is used instead.
Use the Google key you already have
Paste it once. LocalePro only sends sentences it hasn't saved yet.
