What automatic translation actually means

One WordPress site, many reading languages, without a second copy of every page.

“Multilingual WordPress” usually means one of three things: a second site, a second copy of every page, or a list of sentences you export and import. All three work. All three make publishing slower.

LocalePro is for the case where the source of truth stays one site. You publish in the language you write. Visitors read in theirs.

What you’ll do

After that, translation is the plugin’s job. You don’t run a second editorial workflow.

If a page isn’t translated, check that DeepL or Google is connected, that the language is turned on, and that you’re looking at the public page rather than a cached copy your host saved earlier.

The rest is translate a site.
