Updates stay in WordPress
Once LocalePro is installed, new versions show up in WordPress like any other plugin.
LocalePro is a WordPress plugin. After you install it, updates arrive where you already look: the Plugins screen. You don’t hunt for a file on this site every time we ship something.
What an update is
A new version is the same plugin you already run, with fixes and improvements. WordPress offers it the usual way. You review it, update it, and the site keeps serving the languages you already have.
What doesn’t change
Translations already stored on the site stay on the site. Updating the plugin does not send your pages back through DeepL or Google. Visitors keep seeing what you already translated.
If you stop paying
The site keeps translating, and it keeps what it already saved, as long as your DeepL or Google account is still connected. What you lose is new versions of the plugin.
For the install path, see install. For how translation itself is billed, see usage and spend.
